FORMAT: 5 rounds, G25 + 5 seconds, Swiss, Unrated

Class A (Open) & B (Approx. rated under 1000 or age under 10) 

 

Round 1 - 13:30, Round 2 - 14:10, Round 3 - 14:30, Round 4 - 15:30, Round 5 - 16:30

ENTRY FEES: TBCC Members: Early Bird - 5,500 YEN before Friday,  1/10, 3pm
                             TBCC Members: Regular - 7,700 YEN after Friday, 1/10, 3pm
                             Non-members: Early Bird - 6,600 YEN before Friday, 1/10, 3pm
                             Nom-members: Regular - 8,800 YEN after Friday, 1/10, 3pm
                             No refund.

Onsite registration for round 1 ends at 13:30.

For early-bird registration, please contact us before 3pm on 1/10(Fri).  Entry fee will be paid via a bank transfer before the deadline to secure a seat.   Further details will be provided upon registration.

PARENTS: At least one adult must be reachable at all times during the tournament to oversee individual participants. Required to stay out of the room where the children are playing.

CHESS NOTATION: Strongly encouraged for those students 3rd grade and older.

AWARDS: Individual trophies to top 3 players in each sections. The winner of each section will receive free entry fee for the next scholastic chess tournament. 
BRING:  Pencils, notepad, chess sets, and chess clocks if you have them. 
Health Protocol:  A player with symptoms and/or 37.5c or higher will not be able to enter the tournament.
